What Is The Great Crowd?

Almost all Jehovah's Witnesses believe they are members of 'the Great Crowd'. This means they will not go to heaven when they die. They believe that one of two things will happen to them.

• They will die before armageddon. If they do, they will be in an unconscious state with no awareness of what's going on. After armageddon they will be resurrected from the dead. They will be given a new body and live on a paradise earth, where there will be no death, pain, or suffering, ... the former things have passed away.

OR

• They will survive armageddon and enter into God's Kingdom. They believe that after armageddon, they will not die. Instead they will greet their deceased relatives and friends who will be resurrected from the dead.
