This page is about old Watchtower doctrines that are no longer considered to be the truth. What is the truth today? And how can Jehovah's Witnesses be sure that their current beliefs are correct?
Are you afraid the next Watchtower prediction could come true? The Bible says we have nothing to fear and tells us how to identify a false prophet
When you're a Jehovah's Witness, 'the truth' is constantly changing. Jehovah's Witnesses always look forward to 'new truths'. Old 'truths' are quickly forgotten. However some old truths can become new truths and visa versa.
Smart Jehovah's Witnesses eventually discover that 'the truth' has nothing to do with correct doctrines or pleasing Jehovah God. 'The truth' is merely the opinion of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses at this point in time. How do we know that Watchtower truths are opinions? Because the truth is always true. It never changes. The truth never flip flops back and forth. However opinions can change at any time.
The Watchtower has partnered with God without His consent. They lead JW's to believe that obeying them is exactly the same as obeying God. Even if a JW is 'anointed' by God and part of the elite 144,000 who go to heaven to 'rule the earth with Jesus', they can get disfellowshipped by the Watchtower and lose their place in heaven.
Jehovah is a tool to command 100% loyality even in life or death matters such as blood transfusions They tell JW's to 'obey Jehovah' but then they add, 'and His organization' (i.e. the WT). Thus the Watchtower has hijacked God.
As God's channel of communication, JW's are mentally programmed to agree with the Watchtower and reject all other viewpoints. Anyone who disagrees with the Watchtower is called a 'false teacher'. JW's who challenge Watchtower authority, are disfellowshipped and shunned as wicked apostates and 'enemies of Jehovah'.
Sadly because of Watchtower interference, JW's can't put God first!
