Is The Watchtower Run by Jehovah and Jesus?

Jehovah's Witnesses will do anything to defend the organization because they believe it it is run by Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. They believe they are a theocratic organization, meaning it is run by Jehovah through his representatives.

But how is this possible? Jehovah does not serve as a member of the Governing Body. He does not sit at the end of the conference table when the Governing Body decides what is 'the truth'. In fact the Watchtower openly admits in their publications that they do not have any divine inspiration and they can make mistakes! [1]

Spiritualism.

Spiritualism is forbidden within the Watchtower organization Therefore it would surprising for modern day Jehovah's Witnesses to contact God, God's angels, or any other spirits for advice or information.

Jehovah's Witnesses pray to Jehovah through Jesus as a symbol of their love and devotion but they don't expect answers. Instead, they look to God's 'slave', i.e. the Watchtower for answers to all their spiritual questions. Why? See What the Watchtower Says About Their Mediator

Jehovah's Witnesses base their beliefs upon the Governing Body's interpretation of the Bible. And since the Governing Body is not in contact with God or his angels, it's reasonable to assume that some or even all of their doctrines are incorrect.

But wait, aren't 'anointed' Jehovah's Witnesses who serve on the Governing Body in communication with God? Watchtower says that 'Christians who have truly received this anointing do not demand special attention. They do not believe that their being of the anointed gives them special insights beyond what even some experienced members of the "great crowd" may have." Judge not those who leave your religion unless your religion is without fault. Jesus said, "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" Matthew 7:3
