Judicial Committees.

Christians know the truth. Jesus is their savior. John 6:67-69. Critics say that no organization is powerful enough to grant us everlasting life. Our salvation depends on our direct relationship with God. God does need an organization to dispense his 'truths', especially when these truths are not truths. They are merely opinions disguised by the Watchtower Society as 'truths'. Read What the organization Says About Their Relationship With God, and you will quickly see that none of their doctrines are divinely inspired.

There is nothing wrong with any belief system, but there is something wrong when all members must believe exactly the same way, - even if they don't! If anyone disagrees with any teachings no matter how small, or they repeatedly question the organization's authority as God's representative, they become 'apostates'. All Witnesses are told to hate apostates personally. This is in direct violation of Christ's teachings.

Why Judicial Committees?

Critics say there is no reason for a judicial committee system within the congregation. Every country has a police force and a judicial system that processes wrong doers. Anyone found guilty of crimes is put in jail and automatically removed from the congregation if the crime is serious enough. There is no shame in reporting crime suspects to the police. On the contrary, it honors God's name.

What Does The Bible Say?

The Jehovah's Witnesses Judicial Committee System, My Experience.

Jesus said 'Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.' Matthew 5:5. Are the leaders of the organization meek and humble? Are they examples of God's love? Some say they are not. They've judged all other religions harshly. See the Watchtower Magazine, Sept 1989. They've judged people who leave as apostates. And they've judged some Jehovah's Witnesses who disagree with Watchtower doctrines Jesus didn't teach. Jesus warned Christians about the leaven of the Pharisees. Mark 8:15

Are Judicial Committees Necessary?

Critics say this. Since the Bible says there is one mediator between God and men, Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 2:5), none of us need a good relationship with the organization or any religion to have a good relationship with God. We don't need the organization's blessing nor should we care if they approve of our conduct or not. All we need is a direct relationship with Jesus because the Bible says he's the only mediator between God and men. The Bible doesn't say Jesus is the mediator between God and the slave, or God and the 144,000, or between God and the organization, ... He is the mediator between God and all men, - NOT just 144000 people. Any interpretation other than that is untrue and 'false'. True Christians do not add to God's word. See 2 John 1: 9 - 11.
