Im one of Jehovahs Witnesses and i must say most things you post on this site are completely incorrect. For example under the tab 'unhappy jw's" on point number 9 you say that many feel guilty after breaking a rule of Jehovah because "They do not accept the unconditional love and forgiveness Jesus has for all who follow him because their only path to Jesus is through obedience to the Governing Body". That is wrong. When we pray for forgiveness we do not pray through the governing body then through Jesus to get to Jehovah. Thats why its called personal prayer. The only channel to Jehovah is through Jesus, and all Jehovah's Witnesses recognize that. Thats just one of many things you have twisted to make it sound like we're bad people. We arent. And anyone who isnt bitter toward us, like you are, see's that.

The article Unhappy Jehovah's Witnesses says:

9. Jehovah's Witnesses often feel guilty that they may have broken one of 'Jehovah's laws' as explained by the Watchtower. They may wonder if Jehovah forgives them when they make mistakes. They do not accept the unconditional love and forgiveness Jesus has for all who follow him because their only path to Jesus is through obedience to the Governing Body.

Dear Jehovah's Witness friend,

Thank-you for visiting this site and your excellent email. Yes, you are right. Jehovah's Witnesses do pray to Jehovah through Jesus. You do not pray through the Governing Body, then through Jesus to get to Jehovah. However the article you read wasn't about how JW's pray. It's about why some Jehovah's Witnesses are unhappy.

What the author meant was that Jehovah's Witnesses must obey the Governing Body in order to be saved by Jesus. The Watchtower says that only Jehovah's Witnesses have any scriptural hope of surviving armageddon. Watchtower Sept 1, 1989

As you know, disagreement with your Governing Body can lead to disfellowshipping. In that case you will be shunned as an apostate. If that happens, you don't have any scriptural hope of being saved at armageddon because you won't be a JW.

So even though Jehovah's Witnesses pray to Jehovah through Jesus, they are required to obey the Governing Body whenever there's a conflict between what Jesus says in the Bible and what their religion says is 'the truth'. They put their organization ahead of their personal relationship with Jesus. This is contrary to what Jesus said in Matthew 28:18,19. Jesus said ALL authority was given to him.

Jesus is the path to eternal life, not religion. 1 John 5:11; Jude 1:21; John 3:15,16; See Salvation. Best Religion. Can It Save You?

As for your comment about 'making it sound like we're bad people', we're not sure where that comes from. Christians do not have to agree on doctrines, rules, and religious viewpoints. However we do need to be united in God's love for all people no matter what they believe. Followers of Jesus do not judge people as good or bad.

Jesus said, "But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.' Luke 6:35-37

That's why true Christian religions should not have Judical Commitees like Jehovah's Witnesses do. They should not judge. They should love 'the ungrateful and the wicked' apostates, enemies, etc. so they can be 'sons of the Most High'.

As for 'twisted' things see Lies and Mind Control.

Personal Relationship With Jesus Comments.

July 20, 2011. I'm soooo unhappy being a JW, I agree with everything that u have said, bt now I'm in that awkward stage of trying to find God, trying to really understand the bible and build the relationship with God I never had...I still feel that control, like I can't be anything without them, and for the fact that almost all my friends have been in there, I'm sad ill b lonely...I really had psychological issues in there, trying to please the org, never feeling like I was doing enuf, they always wanted more, but I didn't know wat God wanted for ME! It's so emotional :(
