The Truth About Jehovah's Organization.

  • Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Watchtower is 'God's slave' Matthew 24:45-51
  • Witnesses believe the Watchtower is God's mouth piece and channel of communication
  • They also believe they are the only true religion. All others are said to be 'false' and controlled by Satan

What Bible based evidence do we have to prove what the Witnesses say? Find out in this article.

What The Watchtower Says.

The Watchtower says, "Only Jehovah's Witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the "great crowd," as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil." Watchtower Sept 1, 1989 page 19.

The Contradiction.

The Bible says that God is a jealous God and the Watchtower teaches this too. The Watchtower says that Jehovah does not tolerate rivalry and demands 'exclusive' devotion. [1] However at the same time they say this. 'And should we not strive to be obedient and submissive to those taking the lead in our local congregation?' Watchtower Magazine, Nov 15, 2009, Article: 'Treasure Your Place in the Congregation', par 5.

If Jehovah is a jealous God who doesn't tolerate rivalry and demands exclusive devotion, why is it appropriate for Witnesses to obey and be submissive to congregation Elders instead of God alone?

Jehovah Witness Beliefs.

Sincere Jehovah's Witnesses are convinced their religion is God's slave (Matthew 24:45-51) and His organization. Even though the Watchtower is a human organization, it is thought to be God's instrument in these last days. Rebellion against the organization, is thought to be virtually the same as Rebellion Against Jehovah God

Instead of being in an exclusive relationship with Jehovah, Witnesses are in love with God and the Watchtower organization. Both command respect, loyalty, and devotion. In their baptism vows they dedicate their life to Jehovah and his spirit directed organization. Their baptism identifies them as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

They preach door to door because they believe everyone must dedicate their life to Jehovah and the Watchtower organization in order to be saved at armageddon. They believe that just like in the days of Noah, only a few righteous ones will be spared when Jehovah unleashes his anger on our world. Because billions of people refuse to follow the rules of the Watchtower organization, they will die a horrible death at the hands of Jehovah.

If a Witness wants to earn everlasting life, they must obey and be submissive to congregation Elders and the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses.

What Christians Believe.

Respect for teachers is expected in any religion, but NOT obedience. According to the Watchtower, Jehovah is a jealous God and demands exclusive devotion with no rivalry. Why then do Witnesses dedicate their life to God and an organization?

Christians are not slaves of man. They do not strive to obey and be submissive to 'those taking the lead'. God is a Christian's only authority. There's nothing they can do to earn eternal life. Even if they make mistakes and sin because of their imperfect nature, their salvation is guarnateed if they put their faith in Jesus. Christians are not saved because their righteousness, or because they work hard for a religious organization. They are saved by God's grace.

Spiritual Fornication.

Jehovah's Witnesses are very concerned about spiritual fornication. That's why they don't pledge allegiance to the flag of their country, or belong to 'false religions'. They know that spiritual fornication is a sin. They know Jehovah demands 'exclusive devotion' and doesn't tolerate rivalry. [1]

  • Jehovah demands exclusive devotion and does not tolerate rivalry.
  • Jehovah's Witnesses are in a spiritual love affair with two partners, - Jehovah AND the Watchtower organization.
  • Why is this not spiritual fornication or spiritual adultery?

Advice for Jehovah's Witnesses.

If you want everlasting life, dedicate your life to God alone, - NOT Jehovah AND 'his organization'. If you got baptized after 1984, you dedicated your life to Jehovah and the Watchtower. See the Watchtower's baptism vows.

Jehovah is a jealous God. A jealous God doesn't share. Just like a jealous wife won't share her husband with another woman, a jealous God never shares.

1. 'Jehovah is “a God who is jealous (zealous); a God not tolerating rivalry.” (Exodus 20:5, footnote) Being the Creator, he has the right to demand our exclusive devotion.' Watchtower July 15, 2001, Article 'Are You Truly Tolerant?', Subtitle 'Jehovah Is Forgiving All Your Error'

2. ' And God spoke all these words: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand [generations] of those who love me and keep my commandments. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name." ' Exodus 20:1-7

' Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.' ' Matthew 22:37, 38; Notice that Jesus says, ALL your heart, ALL your soul, and ALL your mind.

Jehovah does NOT share. He wants ALL of us, - not 50%. Respect for Elders is a good thing, but obedience and submission to humans angers your God Jehovah. He wants ALL or nothing. He is a jealous God.
