God's message of unconditional love to religions who practice disfellowshipping and shunning. World peace will be possible when churches align themselves with the Christian teachings of Jesus.
If your church believes in disfellowshipping, hating 'apostates', or not associating with people who disagree with some of your doctrines, we encourage you to consider God's message.
Jesus said, "If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?' Matt 5: 46, 47 NIV
Jesus taught us about God. He had compassion for everyone and he loved people unconditionally. He loved his enemies and even forgave his executioners. No one had to earn his love in order to be healed or even resurrected from the dead.
Jesus said, 'love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you' Matt 5:44 WEB
Imagine the impact on world peace if all religions would honor and love one another as Jesus taught his followers to do. That's exactly what's happening today. Will your religion follow Christ's example of unconditional love?
Imagine a peaceful world where people are free to believe whatever they want and everyone feels unconditionally loved. Violence, theft, immorality, and all hurtful practices will soon be a thing of the past. When people know how it feels to be unconditionally loved, they are able to love their neighbors no matter what their neighbors believe in.
When people feel loved and accepted without conditions, it's impossible for them to do hurtful things. That's how God will restore world peace and happiness. Not by forcing people to love him but by transforming minds one at a time from thoughts of hate to thoughts of love.
God will not create peace and happiness by slaughtering billions of people who didn't guess which religion is the best one. No religion is perfect but all of the are striving to do the best they can. One religion is not better than the other. They are just different ways of expressing God's love.
The trend towards world peace is rapidly gaining momentum. Jet travel, education, information, the internet, and modern communications has made our world a very small place.
The internet for example, is here to stay. Religions that practice hate, shunning, and other perverse things in the name of God can't hide anymore. Christians today understand the love Jesus taught and they no longer find these hateful practices attractive.
People today are becoming more tolerant and loving towards people who are different than they are. The reason? Today you can communicate with people on the other side of the world, just as easily as you can speak with someone in your own city. People are learning to love and trust their neighbors who are different. People are learning to get along and appreciate the many different ways that people worship their Creator.
This is the way God will restore world peace. Religions can choose to be examples of God's unconditional love for all people, or they can keep their old beliefs and fade out of existence. Either way, hateful attitudes will not survive in God's new world. He will soon establish world peace with or without the help of any religion. Will your religion be on God's side? Or will your religion be fighting to maintain old, destructive behaviors that are contrary to God's plan for world peace and love?
We invite religious leaders who practice disfellowshipping, shunning and other hateful non Christian practices, to carefully examine all their church doctrines. When religious teachings are in harmony with God's plan for world peace, God's name is honored. Religions that align their spiritual practices with God's unconditional love will be blessed as proud members of his Kingdom.
